In ancient Japan during the many centuries of warring, samurai warriors and even warlords would become so disillusioned with the brutality of the world and their own deeds they would shave their heads and become monks. I also have done unspeakable deeds and face a life of wandering this planet in empty days and empty nights. One man's folly to rebuild his soul.

What is a Haiku?
It's a three lined poem with syllables of 5-7-5, mostly based on images from nature, a moment caught in time. A senryu is written in the haiku format but can be satirical or worldly in nature. I do both and don't care to differentiate.
